Green Light for High Tech Offices

We are pleased to see planning granted to both our exciting office projects for the Galway City Innovation District (GCID) and Portershed Galway, writes Diarmuid Cronin of Cronin Architects.

The projects provides vibrant and exciting co-working office accommodation for in excess of 330 over 2 separate sites in Galway city centre.

Market Street Site

The Market st. site comprises an extension, additional floor, and refurbishment to an existing office building, providing a variety of open plan offices, collaborative workspaces, event space, along with meeting rooms and ancillary support spaces

The design also includes a shared pedestrian link from Market street to a proposed Indoor market to the rear, bike parking, roof terrace, green roof, and flexible event space

Bowling Green Site

The Bowling Green site comprises an extension and refurbishment of an existing vacant warehouse building to provide exciting high-tech shared office space, meeting rooms, break-out spaces, canteen, and related accommodation

The scheme also includes a pedestrian walkway through to Market St, providing access to its sister office project as well as connecting the building and its users to the heart of Galway city
